The clothing is about "the Cross of Christ and the Power and Love we receive through the Cross such as the forgiveness of our sins, true peace and joy, here and now, and eternal life in a restored relationship with God the Father. This may be foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved the Cross is the Power of God unto Salvation."
